Aarti's Report
Returning to Ghar Sita Mutu was like returning Home -
The Children had not forgotten us and we were embraced by them into their hearts
and into their family as if we always belonged. They were my sunshine, joy, laughter
and tears and I cherish them for all the love they gave me unconditionally. We played,
danced and sang together -
The Women were an inspiration. They taught me about values, sacrifice and family
-
I am indebted to my fellow team members and dear friends for their commitment, their
spirit of fun and sense of humour and their willingness to adapt to any given situation.

Katarina's Report
Coming back to Ghar Sita Mutu, was like returning to visit members of my own family. It is impossible to forget their warmth, kindness and appreciation, their lovely smiles and lively eyes. Women we spoke to made it easy to transcend different realities, the bond and connection between us gave us all insights into many different roles and ways of life we were born to lead. It is the invisible connection from heart to heart, that makes the world smaller, erases distances and offers us a better, brighter future in all the many different ways we choose to manifest and honor it.
With deepest gratitude for this special experience to all in GSM, to Aarti, Lynn and Priyanka and to Beverly, whose heart is an example to us all.

Lynn's Report
This was my first visit to GSM and Nepal, so I had no idea of the treat in store for me! Beverly's home for the children is truly a home with a heart and full of love and you feel it the moment you enter but arriving in the middle of Rajina's wedding certainly added to the happy and loving atmosphere. I have so many treasured memories of the children.....from the delight on their faces playing "Pass the Parcel" and doing the "Hokey Cokey" or seeing the positive affirmations written about them by their friends to watching their amazing performances. Throughout the children displayed a concern for others and a selfless desire to be of service to their community that reflects Beverly's compassion, love and selflessness which is at the heart of this project.
The women are also an inspiration, their quiet grace and grit was impressive despite their many hardships and made me realise how fortunate I was to have the freedom to undertake a visit such as this.
Thank you to my 3 companions who made the journey unforgettable and for suffering my biology lessons! It is a tribute to your professionalism that a group of 4, some of whom had never met before worked so effectively and happily together.
Thank you to Beverly for allowing us the privilege of visiting and spending time with you and the GSM family. As ever I have received far more than I gave and I am truly humbled by my time with you and the children. God Bless you all.

Priyanka's Report
This was my first trip to Nepal and Nepal, for me has become synonymous with Ghar Sita Mutu. Suddenly I find that a country that I had never invested much thought about apart from fleeting references from the media, has become so close to my heart. My heart warms up with the visions of Beverly (The Brave Heart!) and her children. This is a home where I have felt the spirit of love and hope. I could sense the exciting rush within myself when I imagined what these children could achieve given the opportunity and honing.
The most fulfilling outcome is the fact that we addressed, through the activities designed by us instillation of group ethos and also striving for the blend of personal and group achievement. This I think is a key factor in the existence of these children. I must mention the concern for the individual children and familiarity with each of the children's personality that Beverly has.. It has helped me immensely while addressing the individual sessions that were required for some children.
What I personally take back from my visit is immeasurable. It is the experiential
learning of working with people from different cultures, both as the part of the
working team and also the reference group of children and women. I have rarely found
such instant amalgamation of ideas and emergence of concrete goals followed by seamless
execution through a team working for the first time together. We were there for each
other. I express my respects and joy for having this opportunity to work with the
team we had -
I look forward to going back to GSM. Its a calling all of us felt.
Thank you -
Priyanka
